I graduated in 2000 with first-class honours, and was awarded the Prize for Clinical Excellence in Paediatric Dentistry. In 2005, I obtained an MSc with Distinction in Paediatric Dentistry from Mahidol University. During my training, I provided a full range of oral health care services to children with special needs through psychological and pharmacological approaches.
My research project focused on finding the links between oral health and general health. The title of my thesis was “Helicobacter Pylori and Streptococcus Pyogenes in Dental Plaque of Children with Rampant Caries”. I was later appointed as a senior clinical lecturer at Srinakharinwirot University, with a role in undergraduate training responsible for teaching Paediatric Dentistry.
I was also an editor of TSPD News which is a professional magazine by the Thai Society of Paediatric Dentistry. I furthered my career by continuing my studies at the Eastman Dental Hospital and completed a postgraduate certificate in Special Care Dentistry in 2009.
After a career break taken to raise my family, I returned to work as an associate dentist in private practice and as an Honorary Clinical Lecturer in Paediatric Dentistry at Barts and The London School of Medicine and Dentistry, QMUL.
Throughout my career, I have continuously helped children to enhance and maintain their oral health and have helped diagnose, treat and prevent dental caries, periodontal disease, dental injuries and malformations of the teeth.
I look forward to welcoming and treating the young patients at The Hampton Wick Dental Centre.
